Since the "shut down" of 2020 I've watched this boat build... as a mostly landlubber; I quote the Greatful Dead "what a long strange trip it's been."

With all the sails up it seemed to me that some the original spirit of Tally Ho re-entered the ship right then! Fanciful but a good feeling nonetheless...

You could always use traditional housings with led internals. I've done that before in custom building and for some Amish friends. Using old style lanterns with led lighting and hiding it with the lens.

You should come race in the classic yacht division of Big Boat Series in San Francisco bay once you're ready to get underway. It would be amazing to see your boat square up against other classic yachts in a race.

Wow! I can only imagine how good it feels to see all the sails flying, and the immense sense of satisfaction that accompanies such a huge accomplishment. Hi Leo; Great progress for you &Tally Ho. Early days for you & your team, but i have a reference book for you that might be of interest, if you do not already have it. Or, as in my past lifetime, gave me too many options, as the old boys had done it all before; somewhere. Buy, Find, Borrow / John Leather, Gaff Rig. Basically over-peak the main, before hoisting, of all topsails, once up, & made fast, set tack & clew; ease peakhaliard, so weight is on topsail. You can also double sheet the tack (Pt & Stbd) over the peak haliards. This gives you the option of flipping the sail to the lee of the peaks, and it's easier to drop if you have a choice.
